GM 2000
Conformal Coating Inspection Station

Conformal coatings currently being used by PRS contain U.V. indicators for the purpose of inspection. Since coatings are transparent, units must be viewed under black light in order to verify coverage and consistency. Many PRS customers inspect boards either without the use of a black light or by turning out all the lights in a room in order to use a hand-held black light which can be very disruptive to the productivity of co-workers who are now working in the dark.

The GM 2000 makes inspection of conformal coating simple and convenient by allowing the inspector to perform a review of quality and consistency of coating under black light without turning off surrounding lights. The GM 2000 fits on a table top and takes only 18x24" of surface area.

GM2010
Conformal Coating Inspection/Rework Station

The GM2010 offers the same valuable assets as the GM2000 with the addition of a fan. This unit can be used for both inspection or minor rework or touchup. The addition of a fan provides the means to divert fumes away from the operator and can be easily attached to the existing ventilation system.
